MDG Health is recognised by all major health insurance providers. We have negotiated special rates for several insurers including PPP and Bupa: please contact us for more details. Whether or not your individual treatment will be covered by insurance will depend on the type of therapy and the conditions in your own insurance policy document. Below are some general guidelines but we would always recommend checking with your provider before booking an appointment to clarify:

• whether a referral is required from your GP/consultant;
• whether you are liable to pay an excess on your policy and if so how much;
• any restrictions on the amount that can be claimed per treatment session; 
• any restriction on the number of treatments which can be claimed;
• any other policy restrictions which may be imposed.

Physiotherapy

MDG Health physiotherapy treatments are refundable from all major health insurance companies: please reclaim your fees directly from your insurer.

Podiatry

Many health insurance companies cover the cost of podiatry consultations; however most do not cover the cost of orthoses, so do check before booking.

Chiropody

Most health insurance providers will not cover the cost of chiropody.
